Installation Manager

The Installation Manager manages a team of installers who are responsible for installing, servicing, repairing specific components. Schedule and oversee the installation of products. Being an Install Manager ensures adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures. Additionally,  The Installation Manager manages installation staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Also ensures that projects and departmental goals are met by adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. The Installation Manager reports to Mutual General Manager.


  • Tracks and measures workload, and creates work schedules.
  • Assists in developing requirements, generating, and reviewing reports and other tools to help identify and measure recurring issues, department productivity, response times and workloads.
  • Examines workflows to improve productivity.
  • Communicates with other departments and management to report results, findings and identify improvements in service delivery and processes.
  • Responsible for inventory used by the department, and interacts with the warehouse to ensure proper stock levels.
  • Responsible for company vans & maintenance.
  • Responsible for inventory/stockroom of installation parts/equipment.

Required of the following reports:

  • Monthly and Quarterly Forecast
  • Bi-Monthly Status report
  • Bi-Monthly Schedule Reports
  • Expense Report to include:




  • Vehicles


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3 or more years’ of Installation Manager/Supervisor experience
  • Experience with Access Control, Security & Video/CCTV systems, and IP technology, especially as it relates to cloud based video systems
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to hold self and his/her team accountable for results by establishing clear roles, and responsibilities.
  • Proven planning and organization skills in a dynamic and high pressure work environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook

Other Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be able to meet and maintain various certifications, licenses and/or registrations, in accordance with applicable state laws and as required by the electronic security regulations in the state (s) worked.
  • Must be willing to participate in and pass the company’s pre-employment screening process including a background investigation and drug screening.
  • Must continue to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver’s license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position.
